Downs Travelling Scholarship

A prize to the value of £1,200 to be used in support of travel to centres of laryngology or rhinology overseas is offered annually by the Section of Laryngology and Rhinology of the Royal Society of Medicine. It will be awarded for a paper on a subject within the field of laryngology and rhinology submitted each year by an author of senior registrar status or by a consultant within two years of appointment.

All papers to be considered must be submitted on the understanding that the author may be required to read his paper at a meeting of the Section, that the decision of the judges shall be final, and that the winning paper will be offered for publication to the Editor of the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.
