Dalby Prize Trust Fund

The object of the fund is the founding of a prize in perpetuity for the encouragement of the science and art of otology in commemoration of Sir William Dalby. The award is made every five years to a person of British nationality recommended to the Council of the Royal Society of Medicine by the president and vice presidents of the Section of Otology as having published or done the best original work in otology during the previous five years. The prize shall be shared if, in the opinion of the Council of the Society, there are at any time two people whose work is considered to be of equal merit. The person to whom the award is made shall be invited to lecture on the subject of his/her work before the Society.
