Fifth Sense is a charity with a long history of working with the BRS to provide support for patients with smell and taste abnormalities.

The MACRO study is a currently running randomised controlled trial comparing the effectiveness of longterm medical treatment against the effectiveness of sinus surgery in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis.
