ENT UK Branding Guidelines

Logo Usage and Trademark Policy

The ENT UK logos are protected by trademark and must never be altered or combined with another organisation’s name, logo, or branding. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Vendors

  • Technology licensees

  • Research funders

  • Donors

  • Commercial or industry-affiliated programmes

  • Members

  • Collaborators

The ENT UK logo may not be used to endorse or imply endorsement of any non-ENT UK entity, programme, product, or service without formal written approval.

Typography

The ENT UK brand uses Calibri font (size 11) across all written materials. This ensures consistency and accessibility across digital and printed media.


Colour Palette

The official ENT UK colour palette is as follows:

Primary Colours

  • Deep Navy Blue - #174a7c
  • Royal Blue - #56a0d3

Accent Coulours

  • Light Purple - #b78db7
  • Medium Green - #4ea44d

These colours should be used for all branding, ensuring consistent representation of the ENT UK identity.


Imagery

All imagery used in conjunction with ENT UK branding should reflect professionalism and clinical integrity. Images must:

  • Be high quality and relevant to the ENT specialty.

  • Avoid overly commercial or unrelated visual elements.

  • Ensure accessibility compliance (e.g., sufficient contrast for text overlays).


Co-Branding and Partnership Guidelines

When collaborating with external organisations, the following rules apply:

  • The ENT UK logo must be clearly distinct from other logos to avoid misrepresentation.

  • The ENT UK branding should take primary focus in ENT UK-led initiatives.

  • External logos must not exceed the size of the ENT UK logo and should follow the agreed layout.


Incorrect Usage

To maintain the integrity of the ENT UK brand, the following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Altering the proportions, colours, or orientation of the logo.

  • Adding unauthorised text or graphic elements to the logo.

  • Using the logo on unofficial or inappropriate materials.
