About ENTUK Enterprises Ltd

ENT UK operates a trading arm, ENTUK Enterprises Ltd, to manage all business-related activities, allowing the Association to focus solely on its core mission of supporting its members and advancing its charitable aims. Established on 14 April 2024, ENTUK Enterprises Ltd was incorporated as a private company limited by shares, with ENT UK as the sole shareholder. This new venture officially commenced operations on 1 October 2024.

Purpose and Role

ENTUK Enterprises Ltd is responsible for managing the Association's commercial activities, such as the annual calendar of events including the British Academic Conference in Otolaryngology (BACO), specialised courses, administrative services, and consultancy work. By handling these business ventures separately, ENT UK is able to safeguard its resources, mitigate financial risk, and ensure its charitable activities remain the primary focus. The establishment of ENTUK Enterprises Ltd enables ENT UK to operate more efficiently and make better use of its resources, while continuing to serve its members and the wider medical community.

Leadership and Governance

ENTUK Enterprises Ltd is overseen by a board of directors, currently comprising three members:

  • Amanda Stratford, ENT UK Chief Executive Officer
  • Andy Kinshuck, ENT UK Trustee
  • Sean Carrie, ENT UK Trustee

This governance structure ensures that ENTUK Enterprises Ltd remains closely aligned with the values and mission of ENT UK while pursuing commercial opportunities.
