About the Conference
Thank you for visiting the BACO International website
Having gone virtual in January 2021, 15-17 February 2023 will see the first face-to-face BACO since 2018! Taking place at Birmingham’s International Conference Centre, it will bring together elements of the virtual approaches learned in recent times with the long experience of academic event planning inherent to the BACO brand. We hope you can join us for the biggest and best BACO yet.
With eighteen successful conferences under its belt (going all the way back to 1963, in Oxford), the British Academic Conference of Otolaryngology has long been the event that, more than any other, showcases the best of British and Irish Otolaryngology. With an increasingly global outlook, BACO today is a major international meeting, with worldwide participation and a world-class programme of academic content, covering the full breadth of our specialty.
