This interactive, half-day workshop will provide ENT trainees with hands-on experience using high-fidelity simulation models across multiple ENT subspecialties. The session is designed to give delegates exposure to simulation platforms and training equipment that may not be available in their regional deaneries.
Participants will rotate through four themed simulation stations: otology, rhinology, and paediatric airway management. The emphasis will be on practical engagement, teamwork, and decision-making in realistic clinical scenarios.
The workshop aims to make simulation-based learning both educational and enjoyable, offering a supportive environment where trainees can practise key surgical and emergency management skills under the guidance of experienced faculty. Each station will be delivered in a compact, high-yield format to ensure efficient use of time and equitable access to all stations.
This session will help trainees:
- Gain hands-on experience with simulation models not typically available in their local units.
- Develop procedural confidence in managing complex ENT cases.
- Understand how simulation can complement surgical training and enhance patient safety.
