Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC)

Originally opening back in 1991, the ICC is one of the UK’s preeminent conference venues, located directly in the heart of Birmingham, within easy walking distance of all the city’s main attractions. Ecological credentials

The ICC is proud of its ISO 14001:2004 accreditation for environmental management systems, and has developed a series of policies and initiatives to reduce the Centre’s environmental impact. These include carbon neutral events, efficient energy consumption, effective waste management, and even bee hotels, as well as an eco-friendly roof area designed to provide a safe haven for birds.
