About
Within ENT balance has become a niche specialty understood by few. This course aims to address this issue by providing ENT surgeons of all grades with the necessary tools to diagnose and treat patients in a routine ENT clinic.
The emphasis of the BSO Course is on clinical techniques and management strategies which work for the general ENT surgeon rather than the neuro-otologist. The course will also give an insight into which investigations are likely to influence management. A morning session of lectures is followed in the afternoon by practical worked examples of common balance disorders, all this in a LIVE online course.
The course will be awarded with CPD points. The amount will be announced shortly.
Programme
The course will encompass several topics of interest, among which:
- Vestibular failure/neuritis
- BPPV
- Non-vestibular diagnosis
- Vestibular Migraine
