About BSFPS

BSFPS (British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery) was created to encourage and support training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery to surgeons in either NHS or private sector.

The Event

BSFPS are delighted to conduct their Annual Conference this year in Edinburgh on 9th and 10th October 2025 at DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre, 34 Bread Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9AF.

BSFPS Juniors Day starts on Thursday 9th October morning till lunch followed by Annual Meeting post lunch. Annual Meeting will continue on Friday 10th October 2025. The Annual Conference for the membership will be held across both of the above dates. 

The conference hosts Prof. Dr. Fazil Apaydin as our guest speaker, a world leading specialist in Facial Plastic Surgery. He serves as a professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Ege University in Izmir, Turkey, where he leads the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has a strong background across the breadth of the subspecialty and will be speaking on this career experience in rhinoplasty surgery. 

This will prove to be an excellent opportunity to hear from one of the foremost leaders in the field with a wealth of experience as a clinician, researcher and educator. Join Us for a Unique Opportunity to Learn from Leading Experts in Facial Plastic Surgery!

We will also have esteemed speakers from across the UK and will be showcasing the Scottish experience in the practice of Facial Plastic Surgery, including a novel live online demonstration. 

Our program also includes presentations from experts in associated specialties such as Oculoplastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, and Plastic Surgery. The topics covered will span a wide range of subjects including Rhinoplasty, Skin Cancer, Auricular Reconstruction, Blepharoplasty, and Injectables, ensuring a broad and enriching experience for all attendees.

This is a wonderful opportunity for colleagues to come together, hear from a dynamic lineup of speakers, and explore a variety of fascinating topics. It also provides an excellent chance to network with professionals within the specialty.

Registrations

Registrations are now closed for the BSFPS Juniors Day and Annual Meeting on Thursday 9th October and Friday 10 October 2025. Onsite registrations will not be accepted.

Networking Evening - Dinner

Delegates and faculty are invited to join us for a fantastic dinner on 9th October 2025 evening, promising a delightful evening of networking at The Fettercairn & Garden Suite, The Scotsman Hotel, 20 North Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1TR. Timings: 19:00 - 23:00 hrs.

Networking Evening Dinner ticket must be bought together with the event ticket. The dinner ticket cannot be bought later as a stand-alone ticket therefore please ensure to tick the dinner ticket add-on before you finalise your event ticket.

• BSFPS Annual Meeting – 9th Oct 2025         2 CPD points - If you attend all day on Thursday, then you would be allocated 5 CPD points subject to your grade)
• BSFPS Annual Meeting – 10th Oct 2025       4 CPD points

The Juniors Day Meeting is primarily intended for students and trainees, but delegates of other grades are welcome to attend as well. However, please keep in mind that the CPD points allocated for the Juniors Day part of the event will be granted only to students and trainees.
