The British Rhinological Society was created to promote education and research in all aspects of Rhinology - the study of the nose, sinuses and related areas including facial plastics. The Society provides a platform for those with an interest in Rhinology to help disseminate knowledge on the subject. The BRS provides a national umbrella to promote and support good clinical practice and advancements in the field of Rhinology. It holds an annual meeting to facilitate engagement, provide education and professional development for its members.
The Event
The ENT UK BRS Juniors and Annual Meeting will be held face-to-face at the iconic Guildhall in the heart of Winchester, The Broadway, Winchester SO23 9GH.
The day starts with the ENT UK BRS Juniors meeting during the first half of 18th May 2023. The ENT UK BRS annual meeting will then commence after lunch hour till evening, followed by the fantastic Networking Evening Dinner. The Annual Meeting will then commence again on 19th May from 08:30 hrs and finish at 13:00 hrs.
The BRS meeting is the most established national meeting covering both rhinology and nasal plastics. This year Professor Paolo Castelnuovo from Varese, Italy will be giving the Storz invitational Lecture. Professor Benjamin Bleier from Harvard and other national faculty will be presenting various lectures covering interesting research and clinical topics. The detailed programme can be found below.
The programme is excellent and far ranging, featuring a host of engaging and educational presentations. The meeting will also provide the perfect opportunity to learn and network with peers, colleagues, and industry partners.
About Winchester
Winchester, the first capital city of England is steeped in history being founded by Romans and ruled by legendary king Alfred whose towering statue stands opposite the Guildhall. Networking Evening - Dinner
Following the Juniors and the Annual Meeting on the 18th May 2023, we have an exciting networking evening dinner at the Guildhall, Winchester. The registration ticket includes entry to the networking evening dinner.
Registrations
The Registrations are now open. Early Bird registrations remain open until 26th March 2023 and the standard price will apply after that date. The registration ticket includes the tea/coffee/refreshments/lunch and networking evening dinner on the 18th May and the tea/coffee/refreshments on 19th May 2023.
Please bear in mind that we do not accept on site registrations for this meeting. All bookings will have to be done prior to the day of the meeting by the registrations deadline of 10th May 2023.

Abstract submission process is now closed. The selected abstracts will be offered to either present in Oral or Poster format.
Dragon's Den Research Grant
The BRS is able to offer members funding towards research projects by way of a pump-priming grant. Grants are available on an annual basis and will be up to the value of £3000. As the BRS is a recognised partner of the NIHR, the successful research project will be automatically considered for inclusion on the NIHR National Portfolio when the ethics and R&D submission process is initiated.
Application forms will be considered by the BRS research group headed by Mr Neil Tan and the top 3 shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their research proposal in May 2023 at the BRS meeting in Winchester.
Applications close at midday on Friday 24th February 2023 and further details are available on the application form. Shortlisted applicants will be informed by 17th March 2023.
