Save the date for the YCOHNS Annual Meeting — the must-attend event for senior ENT trainees, post-CCT fellows, and early-career consultants!
The Young Consultants in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (YCOHNS) Meeting 2026 will take place on Friday 20th November at Hilton Leeds City Hotel.
This meeting was established as a designated space for consultants of up to 5 years and those in their final year of training who are just about to become consultants to share ideas, concerns, advice, and discuss issues of the day in an informal environment.
YCOHNS 2026 offers delegates the opportunity to take part in open and honest discussions, and gain information on relevant topics and challenges that may be encountered by new ENT consultants. Trainees at ST8 level and newly appointed YCOHNS are strongly advised to attend this event.
Insightful presentations
This meeting will feature a number of talks from expert speakers. The sessions will cover the following topics:
- Job planning
- Finance and pensions
- Medico-legal considerations
- Pitfalls of being a new consultant
- Leadership and Management
The event also offers a fantastic chance to connect with peers from across the UK, share experiences, and build your professional network.
This meeting will be accredited with CPD points.
The networking evening and dinner will be held the evening before the YCOHNS Meeting at the event venue, on Thursday 19th November.

Survey & Certificates
After the event, all attendees will receive an email to complete a post-event survey (please check spam folders too). An attendance certificate will be automatically sent to you upon submitting the survey. The survey and certificate can also be accessed by going to the events section of your ENT UK member's area.
Even if you are not a member, you can still access the certificate by logging into the account that you must have created to register for the event.
