Meet the new BACO executive committee

Behind any large conference lie the efforts and combined expertise of an executive committee, whose members must pull together their individual know-how to assemble an enormously complex multi-day event out of thin air – and BACO 2023 is no different. Building on their long experience, the BACO 2023 executive constitutes a fantastic and dynamic team of luminaries in the field of ENT, all senior leaders in some of the institutions which define the specialty and its attendant subspecialties in the UK. We are very pleased to introduce them!

Professor of Rhinology at Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and immediate past president of the British Rhinological Society.​

 

Mr Andrew Swift

BACO 2023 Chair

President of ENT UK, past president of the British Rhinological Society, and local organiser for BACO 2015 in Liverpool.

 

 

Professor Chris Raine

BACO Project Lead

MBE. Consultant ENT surgeon at Bradford Royal Infirmary and clinical director and lead for the regional Yorkshire Auditory Implant Services.

 

 

Mr Declan Costello

Industry Partnership Lead

Consultant ENT surgeon at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals (Slough and Ascot), editor of ENT & Audiology News and Honorary Secretary of the British Laryngological Association.

 

 

As BACO 2023 continues to take shape over the coming months, there’s no doubt that with a team like this at the helm, it promises to be the best and biggest BACO yet!
