Strengthening our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

We are pleased to share the following equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) goals for ENT UK with you. These goals are to ensure that: 

  • our culture supports all our members in feeling that they belong
  • our people represent the specialty
  • we are inclusive, accessible and relevant to patients
  • we collaborate with, advocate for, and support the needs of, those who do not have a strong voice.

These goals have been developed through discussion and engagement with Trustees, representatives from WENTS UK and a forum of members interested in EDI activity. Our next step is to develop an EDI strategy and action plan, building on evidence and analysis from the Kennedy Review, and work on this has already begun. We will share more information as the work develops. In the meantime, if you are a member and would like to share your thoughts on these goals or get involved, please get in touch with the ENT UK General Manager katie@entuk.org.
