Abstract submissions for BACO International 2023 are closing at 11pm on 14 September 2022, so make sure you get yours in soon!
Why submit an abstract?
Exposure: Gain exposure for your research. BACO 2023 will attract a wide range of experts from across the specialty and around the world.
Peer review: Peer review is a vital part of the research process. Presenting your findings at BACO will allow you to get immediate feedback from your peers in an intellectually stimulating environment.
Networking: Network with peers, colleagues and experts in ENT research from the UK and all around the world. This is the perfect forum to share your thoughts and ideas with them.
Participate: Experience the extraordinary atmosphere that makes BACO a special event. If you have attended before, you will be aware of the sense of professional camaraderie this conference creates.
Certificates: The opportunity to be acknowledged for best oral or poster presentation at a famous and prestigious event and stand out among a very impressive cohort of peers.
You can submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations as well as instructional sessions, and for the dedicated SFO Day. Simply upload them directly to the BACO section of the ENT UK website by clicking here.
Instructional sessions
There are still a few slots available for open submission – we particularly encourage instructional sessions addressing advances in surgical techniques or management of challenging conditions and clinical issues. Simply submit 250 words outlining the session’s objectives and planned content and list the names and relevant experience of all members of the team delivering the session.
SFO abstracts
SFO abstracts are open to contributors below CT1 and junior teaching fellows who are SFO members or registered BACO delegates. Successful applicants will present their work as part of the dedicated SFO Day on Thursday 16 February, designed to cultivate the next generation of ENT surgeons.
