Success for BACO 2023 at the Association Excellence Awards 2023!

We are delighted to announce that ENT UK has won the silver award for 'Best Development of an Existing Association Event' and the bronze award for 'Best Longstanding Association Event' in the Association Excellence Awards 2023 for BACO International 2023! The results were announced on Friday 3 November at the Awards Ceremony which took place at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London and was attended by representatives from the BACO 2023 Executive Committee, ENT UK team, Trustees, Executives and invited guests.

“I am absolutely delighted that the hard work of the team and everyone involved has been recognised by these two prestigious awards.  BACO 2023 really was a special event and received such positive feedback from delegates. It is so important to celebrate success and receiving two awards is a fantastic way to do that.”  

BACO International 2023 was ENT UK’s eighteenth conference of its kind. This long-awaited fully face-to-face conference took place at the ICC in Birmingham, and featured an all-embracing, innovative three-day programme including over 180 educational sessions. The programme consisted of topics across many ear, nose and throat specialties including facial plastics; head and neck; laryngology; otology; paediatrics; and rhinology, as well as separate programmes for trainees, allied health professionals and audiologists. BACO 23 delegates have had free access to all of the BACO talks post-event, and there are 175 of these sessions available to view online.The conference featured a fantastic social programme, including the ‘Meet the Sponsors’ evening, and the Networking Evening, a thoroughly enjoyable evening of food, drink and dance. More than 250 attendees came along to celebrate, catch up with old friends and make new ones. The music came courtesy of the excellent Arrhythmics, who got the whole room up on the dancefloor, and it's fair to say that a great time was had by all!

BACO 2023 was a resounding success and we are excited to now turn our eyes to BACO 2026, which will take place during the Summer in Newcastle. Keep an eye out for more exciting updates regarding this event which will follow in due course. We hope to see you there!
