MRCS (ENT) Examination Cessation

For applications to the 2026 round of National Otolaryngology (ENT) ST3, which opens in November 2025, please note that the MRCS (ENT) examination will no longer be an essential qualification on the person specification. Applicants will only be required to have completed the MRCS Part B in line with the other surgical specialties. However, the MRCS (ENT) will continue to be accepted as evidence of eligibility for the foreseeable future. More information can be found on intercollegiate exams website.

National Selection Applicants applying in Nov 2024 for 2025 interviews will still require DOHNS/MRCS ENT.
