ENT UK is pleased to announce our new strategic partnership with Ambu, marking a shared commitment to innovation, service transformation and improved patient care across ENT pathways.
This partnership is focused on creating practical opportunities to support the development of community-based ENT services. As part of this work, Ambu will collaborate with ENT UK on a dedicated discussion group at the ENT UK Innovation Forum in October 2026, exploring how community ENT models can be designed, delivered and scaled. The session will bring together members of the ENT UK Community Group to share learning, challenge assumptions and identify solutions that work for patients and the workforce.
Ambu is already playing an active role in supporting speech and language therapists (SLTs) to transform swallow assessment pathways. Current initiatives, such as the Swallow Diagnostics service, have focused on demonstrating how SLTs can extend diagnostic reach, reduce pressure on acute hospital services, and create new, more integrated models of ENT–SLT collaboration in dysphagia care. These developments align closely with ENT UK’s strategic priorities around workforce optimisation, multidisciplinary working and care closer to home.
Through this partnership, ENT UK and Ambu will work together to highlight best practice, support professional development and stimulate informed debate about the future of ENT service delivery. Importantly, the collaboration is designed to complement ENT UK’s independent clinical leadership, ensuring members continue to benefit from evidence-led discussion and clinically relevant innovation.
We look forward to sharing more details with members over the coming months and to welcoming colleagues to the Innovation Forum in October 2026 for what promises to be a timely and forward-looking conversation about the future of community ENT services.
